You've probably come to this page looking for a free MUD/Talker/Shell account... Well amber.org.uk does provide those things but right now is not accepting new applications. We've been running for nearly 10 years now and have grown to accomodate 1000's of users but it just isn't feasable to grow any more. Amber is run by one person these days and really I don't have enough time to support the boxes or the users I have, let alone new ones.

I realise this is a bit of a let down but I want to put some time into redeveloping my approach, perhaps offering an automated 'free shell' server and accepting applications for new MUDs only when an existing one leaves... Stay tuned.
